The past couple weeks have been filled with a lot of thinking time for me. It's been refreshing to take time for myself. To ponder the things that matter and to evaluate where I'm at and where I want to go.
I recently read a quote from President Gordon B. Hinckley in his book Stand A Little Taller It was a perfect reminder of what we should be doing regularly. Here's what it said:
Make Time for Personal Reflection:
"Our lives become extremely busy. We run from one thing to another. We wear ourselves out in thoughtless pursuit of goals which are largely ephemeral. We are entitled to spend some time with ourselves in introspection, in development, in thinking, meditating, pondering things."
So, friends this week make sure to schedule yourself some "you" time. Whether it's reading a chapter from a book you've been wanting to read, going for a run, watering the garden, going to your favorite thinking spot or going for a drive.
Take a time out and be willing to sit and just, be for a while.

This picture really turned out great! I can't wait to see the rest of them from our evening up the mountain.
