The view from the chair lift on our way up to the Alpine Slide. No editing done - that's the true yellow of the leaves.
For the past two hours I've been writing, re-writing and re-re-writing something to put on here. And for some reason none of it is coming out the way I want it to.
So, I've settled on sharing a little thought that I found today on Anne's blog and calling it good.
"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."
I like that thought. A lot. Now it's time to step up and kick it into high gear.
This last weekend was a superb one. The whole family and a few extras spent the weekend in Park City. We've gone to Park City every October for as long as I can remember. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the autumn weather. I went on some beautiful drives through the canyons, ate at some delicious restaurants, took a couple runs through the mountains, went for a spin down the alpine slide and enjoyed the most comfortable bed of my life.
All in all, this week has been exactly what I needed. A nice break from the mod podge known as my day to day life. A chance to step back and just be.
Here are another few items topping this week's love list:
-I finally get my very own phone and cubicle at work
-The hot tubs here. Seriously, THE best!
-Clearance racks at the Gap and Banana Republic outlet stores
-I now have legitimate business cards to exchange with people at meetings
-Afternoon's in Midway and Heber

The glories of fall colors!
